The Higgledy Stacked Ball Floor Lamp Base takes a simple idea and does it well: a column of rounded balls stacked one on top of another, rising from a weighted round foot to a fitting ready for your choice of shade. Made from steel with a smooth painted finish, it stands 132.7cm tall, so it works well beside a sofa, an armchair or in a reading corner. The sculptural spindle shape gives the base plenty of character on its own.

Choose from three colourways: Pink Clay, a soft terracotta tone; Marlin Blue, a deeper blue; and Almond White, a warm neutral. Pink Clay and Marlin Blue add a bit of colour to a plainer room, while Almond White sits quietly alongside most schemes. Each measures 28cm x 28cm x 132.7cm (W x D x H), with a round base that keeps it steady on the floor. Pair it with a drum or empire shade to suit your space.
