Description

Our Hardwick Hall storage bench brings seating and stowaway storage together in one solid piece. The oak frame carries a warm mid-brown finish, with a padded seat topped in a soft oatmeal polyester cover that adds a comfortable place to sit while you pull on shoes or set down bags. It suits a hallway, boot room or the foot of a bed where you need a spot to perch and somewhere to keep clutter out of sight.

Beneath the cushioned top sit three woven seagrass baskets, each with a cut-out handle for easy lifting. Use them for shoes, scarves, blankets or the odd items that gather by the front door. The natural weave contrasts nicely against the oak, giving the bench a rustic, country feel that works in traditional and relaxed modern homes alike. Measuring 1480mm wide, it offers generous seating for two while keeping a fairly slim depth of 380mm.

Built from oak and oak veneer over a pine and MDF core, the bench is made to stand up to daily use in busy parts of the home. The baskets slide out fully so you can carry them to where they are needed, then tuck them back into their open cubbies. It is a practical piece for keeping a hallway tidy without giving up on comfort.
