Description

The Hal takes a spider-like approach to lighting, with eight arms fanning out from a central ceiling plate in every direction. Each arm bends and angles differently, holding an exposed bulb at its tip so the whole fitting reads more like a piece of wire sculpture than a conventional ceiling light. It is an industrial design that leans into the raw and mechanical rather than hiding it away.

The frame is made from steel finished in aged pewter, with the bulb holders picked out in aged copper. That two-tone metal pairing gives the piece warmth against the cooler grey of the arms, and the adjustable joints let you set the angle of each arm to suit your ceiling. Fitted with clear filament-style bulbs, the exposed lamps become part of the look, casting a soft, warm glow across the room.

At 680mm wide the Hal spreads its light across a generous area, making it well suited to living rooms, dining rooms and larger hallways where you want a central feature with real presence. The industrial styling works with exposed brick, reclaimed wood and pared-back interiors alike.
