Description

The Crochet hoop floor lamp pairs two vertical LED hoops in a brass-finish aluminium frame with a three-leg tripod base. Each hoop contains integrated 36W LED strips delivering a combined 2500lm of 3000K warm white light in a 360-degree pattern, creating both ambient illumination and a sculptural focal point. The dimmable LEDs allow output to be adjusted from full brightness down to low ambient glow depending on room use and time of day.

Designed for living rooms, open-plan spaces and bedrooms where conventional ceiling lighting may be inadequate or absent, the lamp stands approximately 1.7m tall with a footprint of around 600mm at the tripod base. The two hoops sit at different heights and angles, giving asymmetric visual interest when viewed from multiple positions. The brass finish reflects warm tones under both daylight and artificial light, pairing well with mid-century, contemporary and Art Deco interiors.

The aluminium construction keeps the lamp relatively lightweight despite its scale, and the tripod legs provide stability on carpets and hard floors without needing additional weighting. The 80 CRI rating means colours appear reasonably accurate under this light source, making it suitable for reading and general living space tasks rather than just decorative wash lighting. The lamp is rated IP20 for dry indoor use only.

Is this lamp dimmable?

Yes. The integrated LED is dimmable when paired with a compatible LED dimmer switch. Check that your dimmer is rated for LED loads before connecting.

What ceiling height is needed?

The lamp stands approximately 1.7m tall and works best in rooms with standard 2.4m or higher ceilings. In lower-ceilinged rooms the top hoop may sit relatively close to the ceiling plane.

Can the hoops be repositioned?

The hoops are fixed in position during manufacture and cannot be adjusted or repositioned after installation. The asymmetric arrangement is part of the design.

What's the light output equivalent to?

At 2500lm and 3000K, the combined output is roughly equivalent to a 150-200W incandescent bulb in perceived brightness, though the 360-degree diffusion means the light spreads more evenly than a directional bulb.
