The Fabien footstool pairs a padded brown leather top with a squared iron base, giving you a low seat or rest that suits industrial and modern rooms alike. The leather cushion carries a lived-in, slightly worn finish, so small variations in tone and grain are part of the look rather than a fault. Beneath the seat sits foam over plywood, keeping the top supportive while it holds its shape day to day.

The base is formed from iron with a brushed grey finish, bent into a sled-style pair of legs that run to the floor for a stable footing. This open frame keeps the piece feeling light despite its solid build, and the raw metal tone works well against wooden floors, rugs and darker upholstery. At 500mm wide and 360mm high, it slides in front of an armchair or sofa as a footrest, or stands alone as extra perch seating.

Use it in the living room beside a reading chair, at the end of a bed, or in a hallway as a spot to sit while pulling on shoes. Wipe the leather with a dry or barely damp cloth and treat it with a leather conditioner now and then to keep it supple. The metal frame needs only an occasional dusting.
