Description
The Drayton wall lantern brings a traditional coach light look to porches, doorways and garden walls. Cast in aluminium alloy with a textured black finish, it holds the lantern head in a downward-facing position on a curved arm, so light spills gently towards the ground below. Clear bevelled glass panels sit within the six-sided frame, letting the bulb glow show clearly while keeping the wiring protected.
Period details run right through the design, from the domed top and decorative crown to the finial that tips the base. The clear panels give an unobstructed view of the lamp, making it well suited to a warm-white bulb that recreates the feel of an old carriage lamp. Measuring 200mm wide and 410mm tall, it has enough presence to frame an entrance without overwhelming a smaller wall.
Made for outdoor use, the die cast alloy body resists knocks and weather, while the black coating keeps its colour through the seasons. Fitted with an E27 lamp holder, it works with a wide range of standard bulbs so you can set the brightness to suit the spot. Pair two either side of a door for a balanced, welcoming look.
