Description

The Alfa is a 10W LED recessed downlight with a white aluminium bezel and a black-painted reflector cone, delivering 500 lumens at 2700K warm white with a 60° beam angle. The integrated LED driver runs on 220-240V AC at 50Hz and is not dimmable. The black reflector cone directs light downwards while minimising glare from the sides, making the fitting suitable for hospitality, office and residential applications where focused task lighting or accent lighting is required.

Designed for ceiling cavity installation, the downlight requires a cutout and ceiling void sufficient to house the aluminium body and driver assembly. The 60° beam provides a moderately wide spread that works for general room lighting when spaced at 1.5-2m intervals, or as accent lighting over kitchen worktops, bathroom vanities and hallway routes. The IP20 rating limits installation to dry indoor environments only.

The white powder-coated bezel sits flush with the ceiling surface once installed, while the black reflector cone recedes into the ceiling cavity, reducing visual presence when viewed off-axis. The 90 CRI rating provides accurate colour rendering suitable for retail display, food preparation areas and grooming spaces. At 10W per fitting, the LED consumes approximately 90% less energy than a comparable 100W halogen downlight while producing similar lumen output.
