Dip LED Recessed Downlight 15W 3000K 76mm - White

The Dip is a 15W LED recessed downlight with an integrated warm white LED delivering 1620 lumens at 3000K colour temperature. The 50° beam angle provides focused directional light suitable for task lighting, accent lighting or general illumination in residential and commercial interiors. The white aluminium body houses a fixed LED module with a 90 CRI rating, rendering colours accurately under the warm light output.

Designed for recessed installation into ceilings with sufficient void depth above the plasterboard or suspended ceiling tile, the downlight suits living rooms, kitchens, bathrooms (IP20 rating limits use to zones outside splash areas), hallways, offices and retail spaces. The fixed downward beam works well spaced at 1.5-2m intervals for general room lighting, or positioned individually over kitchen worktops, bathroom mirrors or reception desks where directed light is needed.

The white powder-coated aluminium body provides a clean finish that blends into white and light-toned ceilings without drawing attention to the fitting itself. The integral heat sink with vertical fins manages thermal dissipation from the 15W LED, allowing sustained operation without thermal degradation. Spring clips secure the downlight into a cut-out in the ceiling void, and the non-dimmable driver connects to 220-240V mains via a standard UK supply.

The 90 CRI rating makes this downlight suitable for environments where colour accuracy matters, including retail displays, art walls, kitchens where food preparation relies on accurate colour judgement, and bathrooms where makeup or grooming lighting benefits from faithful colour rendering. Is this downlight dimmable?

No. The integrated LED driver is non-dimmable and must be connected to a standard switched mains circuit. Pairing with a dimmer switch will cause flicker or failure.

What cut-out size is required?

The Dip requires a specific ceiling cut-out diameter for the spring clips to engage securely. Check the installation instructions or contact us for the exact cut-out dimension before cutting the ceiling void.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

The IP20 rating limits use to dry areas only. It can be installed in bathrooms outside zones 0, 1 and 2 (typically above 2.25m from the bath or shower tray, or further than 0.6m horizontally from water sources). It cannot be used directly above baths, showers or basins.

What's the difference between 3000K and 4000K versions?

3000K produces warm white light with a slight yellow tone, commonly used in living spaces, bedrooms and hospitality environments. 4000K produces neutral white light closer to daylight, preferred in offices, kitchens and commercial settings. This model is 3000K.
