Description

The Alfa 10W LED recessed downlight delivers 500 lumens of 2700K warm white light through a white aluminium trim. The integrated 10W LED sits behind a 60-degree beam angle reflector, casting focused downward light suitable for general room illumination or task lighting over kitchen worktops, bathroom vanities and hallway circulation routes.

Designed for recessed ceiling installation in dry interiors with a standard UK ceiling cavity depth, the downlight fits into a cutout approximately 75-80mm in diameter (exact cutout dimension depends on housing design). The spring-loaded mounting clips secure the fitting into plasterboard or solid ceilings without visible fixings from below. The white trim sits flush with the ceiling surface once installed, blending into white and light-coloured ceilings.

The 90 CRI rating reproduces colour accurately, making this downlight suitable for areas where colour rendering matters - kitchens where food is prepared, bathrooms where makeup is applied, or retail display zones. The aluminium construction and white powder-coat finish provide durability and heat dissipation for the 10W LED module. This downlight is not dimmable and carries an IP20 rating, limiting it to dry indoor use only.

No. The integrated LED is not compatible with dimmer switches and must be wired to a standard on/off switch or lighting circuit only.

What cutout size is needed?
