Description
The Dip is a recessed LED downlight delivering 1550 lumens from a 15W integrated LED module, rated at 3000K warm white. The matt black aluminium trim sits flush with the ceiling once installed, with a deep-set reflector that directs light downward in a 50° beam angle. The high 90 CRI (Colour Rendering Index) rating means colours and textures appear true under the light, making this fitting suitable for spaces where accurate colour reproduction matters.
Designed for residential and commercial ceiling installation in dry locations (IP20 rating), the downlight fits standard recessed housings and works in living rooms, bedrooms, hallways, offices and retail spaces where focused accent lighting or general ambient coverage is needed. The 50° beam spreads light across a 2-3m area when fitted at standard 2.4m ceiling height, so spacing multiple downlights 1.5-2m apart provides even coverage without pooling or dark patches.
The matt black finish on the aluminium trim reduces reflections and integrates cleanly with dark ceilings, exposed joists, or black track systems. The recessed mounting style means the fitting projects minimally below the ceiling plane, preserving headroom in rooms with lower ceilings. The LED module is non-dimmable and runs on standard 220-240V 50Hz AC mains, requiring no external driver or transformer.

Frequently Asked
Is this downlight dimmable?
No. The integrated LED module is non-dimmable. Connecting it to a dimmer circuit may cause flickering or damage the driver.
What cut-out size is needed for installation?
Cut-out dimensions are not provided in the specification. Please contact us for the exact cut-out diameter and depth required for this Dip model before cutting ceiling apertures.
Can it be used in bathrooms?
The IP20 rating means this downlight is suitable for dry locations only. It is not rated for use in bathrooms, shower rooms or other damp environments where water ingress could occur.
What colour temperature is 3000K?
3000K is warm white, similar in tone to a traditional halogen bulb. It casts a warm, slightly yellowish light that suits residential interiors, hospitality spaces and areas where a cosy atmosphere is preferred over clinical brightness.
