The Datsun Footstool pairs a deep, pillowy top cushion with a tapered solid oak base for a mid-century look that sits well beside armchairs and sofas. The upholstery is a textured woven fabric with a subtle fleck, giving the seat a soft, tactile feel while the four splayed oak legs and cross-stretcher keep it steady underfoot. At 55.5cm wide it works as a footrest, an occasional perch or extra seating when guests arrive.

We offer this footstool in two colourways: a warm-toned Charcoal and a muted Green, both set against the same honey oak frame. The Charcoal suits darker, cosier rooms and layered neutrals, while the Green brings a little colour to lighter spaces. Either way it slots into living rooms, reading corners and bedrooms without taking up much floor space.

The frame is solid oak in a natural finish, and the seat is built up with foam and polyester fibre for a padded, generous cushion topped in a hard-wearing polyester weave. To care for it, vacuum the fabric now and then and blot spills promptly with a clean, damp cloth. Wipe the oak legs with a soft dry cloth and avoid soaking the wood.
