Description
The Onda is a 12W LED ceiling spotlight with a cylindrical white aluminium housing and a tilting head that pivots up to 45 degrees from vertical. The integrated LED provides 850 lumens of warm 3000K light through a 120° beam angle, giving a wide spread of downward illumination suitable for accent lighting, wall washing, or general task lighting in residential and commercial spaces.
Designed for surface mounting on standard UK ceiling roses, this spotlight suits hallways, kitchens, home offices and retail spaces where directed light is needed without recessing into the ceiling structure. The tilting head allows the beam to be angled towards artwork, kitchen worktops, retail displays, or any surface requiring focused illumination. The 90 CRI rating gives accurate colour rendering, making it suitable for spaces where colour accuracy matters - art galleries, clothing retail, food preparation areas.
The white powder-coated aluminium body measures approximately 80mm diameter and projects 100mm from the ceiling when fitted. The matte white finish provides a neutral appearance that integrates quietly with white or light-toned ceilings. The 12W LED draws significantly less power than equivalent halogen spotlights while providing comparable light output, and the unit carries an IP20 rating for indoor dry-location use only. The LED is non-dimmable and runs on standard 230V AC mains.

Frequently Asked
Can the spotlight head be angled?
Yes. The spotlight head tilts up to approximately 45 degrees from vertical, allowing the beam to be directed towards walls, worktops, or display areas rather than straight down.
Is this dimmable?
No. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and runs at a fixed 12W output on standard 230V AC mains.
What ceiling height does it suit?
The 120° beam angle provides a wide spread of light, making it effective in rooms with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3.5m. At 2.4m ceiling height, the beam will cover approximately 3m diameter on the floor; at 3m ceiling height, approximately 4m diameter.
Can it be used in bathrooms?
No. The IP20 rating is for indoor dry locations only. For bathroom use, particularly in zones 1 or 2 near showers and baths, an IP44 or higher rated fitting is required.
