Description

The Onda is a 12W LED surface-mounted spotlight with a rotating head housed in a white powder-coated aluminium cylinder. The integrated LED delivers 910 lumens at 2700K warm white through a 96° beam angle, providing broad directional light suitable for accent or task applications. The head pivots within the surface-mounted base, allowing the beam to be angled after installation.

Designed for ceilings where recessed downlights are not feasible due to shallow ceiling voids or concrete slab construction, the surface-mounted format requires only a standard ceiling rose connection. The 96° beam width suits general room lighting when multiple units are spaced across a ceiling, or accent lighting when aimed at specific features such as artwork, shelving or kitchen worktops. The white finish integrates visibly with white or light-coloured ceilings.

The aluminium housing dissipates heat from the 12W LED module without requiring external fins or vents, maintaining a clean cylindrical profile. The 90 CRI rating reproduces colours accurately under the warm white 2700K output, making the spotlight suitable for rooms where colour rendering matters including kitchens, retail displays and home offices. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor environments.

Can the spotlight head be adjusted after installation?

Yes. The cylindrical head rotates within the surface-mounted base, allowing the beam direction to be changed without re-wiring or moving the fitting. The 96° beam angle provides coverage flexibility depending on ceiling height and room layout.

Is this suitable for low ceilings?

The surface-mounted design adds projection from the ceiling plane, so it works best in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. In lower-ceiling spaces the fitting may feel visually prominent, though the compact cylinder and white finish help it recede against white ceilings.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The 12W LED module is integrated into the fitting and is not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for approximately 25,000 hours of use, equivalent to around 11 years at 6 hours per day.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

The IP20 rating means the fitting is suitable only for dry indoor environments with no direct water exposure. It cannot be used in bathroom zones where IP44 or higher ratings are required.
