Description

The Float is a compact LED ceiling light with a smoke-tinted glass diffuser mounted on a matt black metal canopy. The integrated 13W LED produces 700 lumens at 3000K warm white through the dual-layer glass shade, which combines a clear outer layer with a frosted inner diffuser to soften the light output and reduce glare.

Designed for hallways, bathrooms, low-ceiling bedrooms and utility spaces where a flush or semi-flush fitting is needed, the light sits close to the ceiling with a total projection of approximately 80-100mm from the mounting surface. The smoke glass gives a softer visual presence than clear glass when the light is off, and the 100-degree beam angle provides wide ambient coverage suitable for rooms up to 8-10m².

The fitting is dimmable when paired with a compatible LED dimmer, allowing output to be reduced from full 700 lumens down to a low night-light level. The IP20 rating makes it suitable for dry indoor use including bathrooms outside shower zones. The matt black metal canopy measures approximately 100mm diameter and mounts directly to a standard UK ceiling rose or junction box.
