Description
The Onda is a surface-mounted LED spotlight with an 18W 3000K integrated LED housed in a matt black aluminium drum. The circular lamp head pivots on a low-profile ceiling plate, allowing the 1370 lumen output and 120° beam angle to be directed across walls, artworks, or specific zones within a room.
Designed for accent lighting in living rooms, hallways, and gallery-style spaces, the Onda functions as a ceiling spotlight without requiring recessed installation or cutting into the ceiling structure. The surface-mounted plate sits flush against a standard UK ceiling rose, making it suitable for solid ceilings, period properties with lath-and-plaster, and rental properties where recessed downlights cannot be installed. The spotlight rotates through approximately 350° and tilts through around 90°, giving flexibility to highlight objects or wash light across feature walls.
The matt black aluminium finish presents as near-anthracite under daylight, softening to charcoal-black once lit. The 90 CRI rating renders colours accurately, making the spotlight suitable for lighting artwork or textile displays where colour fidelity matters. The non-dimmable 18W LED runs on 220-240V AC mains and carries an IP20 rating for dry indoor use only. The compact 100mm diameter and low 50mm projection from the ceiling make the Onda visually unobtrusive when ceiling-mounted in lower-height rooms.

Frequently Asked
Can the spotlight head be adjusted after installation?
Yes. The lamp head rotates through approximately 350° and tilts through around 90° on its mounting plate, allowing the light direction to be adjusted at any time without tools.
Is this suitable for low ceilings?
Yes. The Onda projects approximately 50mm from the ceiling when mounted, making it suitable for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.3m or above where a recessed downlight would reduce headroom further.
Is it dimmable?
No. The integrated 18W LED is non-dimmable and runs at full output on 220-240V mains. Pairing it with a dimmer switch will cause flicker or failure.
What colour temperature does it produce?
3000K warm white. This sits between the warmer 2700K of traditional tungsten bulbs and the cooler 4000K of neutral white LEDs, providing a balanced tone for residential and hospitality spaces.
