Description
The Cannes open display unit brings warmth and openness to a room with its four tiers of solid acacia shelving. We designed it with clean cylindrical uprights and slim, exposed brackets, so each shelf appears to float between the posts. The open-backed structure keeps everything on view, making it a practical choice for books, plants, ceramics and everyday pieces you like to keep within reach.
Acacia gives the piece its honeyed tone and natural grain, with subtle variation running across each plank. No two shelves look identical, and the dark streaks and knots that appear here and there are part of the character of the timber. The generous 1600mm width and full-height frame make it a room divider as much as a storage unit, working equally well against a wall or freestanding in an open-plan space.
Standing at 1350mm high with a shallow 340mm depth, it holds a lot without crowding the floor. The lower shelf sits close to the ground for heavier items, while the upper tiers keep lighter objects at eye level. It suits a living room, study or hallway where you want storage that stays light and airy rather than boxed in.

Frequently Asked
What wood is this shelving unit made from?
It is made from solid acacia, a hardwood known for its strength and warm honeyed tone with natural grain variation.
Will each shelf look the same?
No. Acacia has natural colour and grain variation, so each shelf carries its own knots, streaks and tone. This is a normal feature of solid timber.
How should I care for the acacia finish?
Wipe with a soft dry or lightly damp cloth and dry straight away. Avoid harsh cleaners and keep it out of direct sunlight and away from radiators to protect the wood.
Can it be used as a room divider?
Yes. The open-backed design and 1600mm width make it well suited to dividing an open-plan space while keeping both sides light and visible.
How much space does it need?
It measures 1600mm wide, 340mm deep and 1350mm high, so it fits neatly against a wall or stands free with a shallow footprint.
