Description

The Wisp Landscape is an 18W LED bollard light built from graphite-finished stainless steel with a vertical cage design that directs 850 lumens of 3000K light downwards and outwards through 180° beam angle. The integrated LED sits behind the cage structure, which shields the light source from direct view while projecting warm white light onto adjacent pathways, decking and planting.

Designed for garden pathways, terrace edges, and driveway borders, the bollard stands approximately 450mm tall with a base-mounted fixing plate that bolts to concrete or paving. The IP54 rating protects the internal components from dust and water spray, making the fitting suitable for year-round outdoor installation in the UK climate. The 180° beam spread covers walkways up to 1.5m wide when bollards are spaced 2-3m apart along a path.

The graphite finish on the stainless steel body provides a dark neutral tone that recedes into garden planting during daylight and becomes the light source at dusk. The vertical cage ribs cast striped shadow patterns on surrounding surfaces when lit. The non-dimmable 18W LED delivers 850 lumens at start-up, with a 90 CRI rating that renders natural colours accurately in planting and stonework.

What's the IP rating and can it be used in exposed positions?

The bollard carries an IP54 rating, protecting against dust ingress and water spray from any direction. This makes it suitable for open garden pathways, terraces and driveways exposed to UK weather year-round.

How is it installed?

The bollard fixes to a concrete or paving base via a mounting plate at the bottom of the post. Mains wiring runs underground to the base and connects inside the bollard. Installation requires qualified outdoor electrical work and appropriate cable protection.

What spacing is recommended along a pathway?

The 180° beam angle and 850 lumen output suit spacing of 2-3m between bollards along pathways up to 1.5m wide. Closer spacing increases light overlap; wider spacing creates pools of light with darker sections between.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The 18W LED is integrated into the fitting and is not user-replaceable. LED lifespan is typically 25,000-30,000 hours of continuous use, equivalent to over a decade of evening-only operation.
