Betone LED Bollard Light 7W 3000K 740mm - Cement

The Betone is a concrete bollard light with a vertical cement-textured column and an eye-shaped aperture near the top that houses an integrated 7W LED. The LED casts 500 lumens of 3000K warm white light through the aperture, creating a directed beam onto pathways and planting below whilst also spilling soft light through the concrete itself.

Designed for garden paths, driveways, borders and low-level landscape accents, the bollard carries an IP65 rating that makes it suitable for year-round outdoor installation in UK weather. The 96° beam angle spreads light across a path width of approximately 1.5-2m when the bollard is positioned at typical 3-4m intervals. The cement and aluminium construction gives the bollard structural stability without requiring heavy foundation work - a flat concrete pad or compacted gravel base is sufficient for most residential installations.

The concrete column measures approximately 500mm in height with a square cross-section, providing enough presence to define a pathway edge whilst remaining low enough not to obstruct sightlines across a garden. The cement finish shows natural textural variation and sits comfortably in contemporary, minimalist and naturalistic garden schemes. The aluminium plinth at the base provides corrosion resistance and contains the wiring entry point for installation. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and rated at 90 CRI, providing accurate colour rendering for foliage and planting.

Can this be used on a driveway or near paving?

Yes. The IP65 rating protects the LED and wiring from rain, splashes and ground moisture. The bollard is designed for path and driveway edge installation where it will be exposed to weather but not direct vehicle impact.

How is it wired?

The bollard requires mains 220-240V AC supply. Cable entry is through the aluminium base plinth. Installation should be completed by a qualified electrician, with the supply cable routed underground in suitable conduit to the bollard position.

What spacing is recommended between bollards?

For continuous path lighting, position bollards at 3-4m intervals. The 96° beam angle and 500 lumen output provide overlapping pools of light across a typical 1.5-2m path width at this spacing.

Is the concrete finish weatherproof?

The concrete is sealed and the IP65 rating covers the entire assembly. The cement finish will show natural weathering and tonal variation over time as it's exposed to rain, frost and UV, which is characteristic of outdoor concrete.
