The Betone Landscape is a 7W LED bollard light built from cement and aluminium, with an oval aperture cut through the cement face that allows warm 3000K light to wash down onto pathways and plantings. The integrated LED produces 500 lumens through a 96-degree beam angle, providing diffused illumination rather than a focused spot. The IP65 rating seals the internal components against dust and water jets from any direction, making the bollard suitable for garden paths, driveways, poolside edges and coastal environments.

Designed for ground-level path lighting, the bollard sits on an aluminium base plate that can be surface-mounted onto paving or set into soft landscaping with appropriate ground anchors. The cement body weighs enough to stay stable in moderate wind without additional ballast. The 96-degree beam spreads light across a 1.5-2m width when the bollard is positioned 3-4m apart along a pathway, providing continuous coverage without dark gaps between fittings.

The cement finish shows natural aggregate texture and slight tonal variation between individual units, which is characteristic of cast concrete products. The aluminium base and rear housing are powder-coated in a dark grey that blends with the cement. The non-dimmable LED runs on standard 220-240V mains wiring and draws 7W continuously when lit. The 3000K colour temperature produces warm white light that complements warm-toned paving and natural stone without the cooler blue cast of higher Kelvin ratings.

Can this be used in coastal or exposed garden environments?

Yes. The IP65 rating protects against dust ingress and water jets from any angle, which covers rain, hose-down and garden irrigation spray. Coastal salt spray may over time cause surface weathering on the cement, which is characteristic of concrete products in maritime environments.

What spacing is recommended for continuous path lighting?

The 96-degree beam angle and 500 lumens output typically provide good coverage when bollards are spaced 3-4m apart along a path. For brighter illumination or wider paths, reduce spacing to 2.5-3m.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The LED is integrated into the fitting and is not user-replaceable. The expected lifespan of the LED under typical outdoor use is approximately 25,000-30,000 hours.

How is it mounted?

The aluminium base plate can be surface-mounted onto paving with appropriate fixings, or set into soft landscaping using ground anchors. The bollard must be wired into mains 220-240V supply - it is not battery-powered or solar.
