Description

The Landscape is a 6W LED bollard light built from aluminium with a brown powder-coated finish, housing an integrated LED behind a cylindrical mesh shade. The mesh allows light to escape in a 110-degree beam pattern while breaking up the glare from the LED chip inside, casting gentle speckled shadows on surrounding paving and planting.

Designed for garden paths, driveways, patios and borders, the bollard stands approximately 900mm tall (measured from the image proportions) and is IP65 rated for year-round outdoor use in UK weather. The 3000K warm white LED produces 190 lumens, suitable for low-level path guidance and marker lighting rather than security floodlighting. The brown finish integrates with timber decking, bark mulch and terracotta pots without the reflective presence of steel or aluminium finishes.

The aluminium construction resists corrosion better than mild steel bollards, particularly in coastal or high-rainfall regions. The mesh shade provides impact protection for the LED module while allowing airflow to prevent heat build-up inside the housing. The bollard is mains-powered at 220-240V and requires hard-wired installation by a qualified electrician - it is not dimmable and does not accept bulb changes as the LED is integrated.

Is the Landscape suitable for all-year outdoor use?

Yes. The IP65 rating means the bollard is fully protected against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction, making it suitable for UK weather including rain, snow and frost. It can be installed in exposed positions without additional shelter.

Can it be installed in a lawn or border?

The bollard requires mains 220-240V power, so installation in a lawn or border depends on whether mains cable can be run underground to the position in armoured conduit. A qualified electrician will advise on the best routing method for your garden layout.

How bright is 190 lumens?

190 lumens is low-level output suited to path marking and ambient garden lighting rather than task or security lighting. For comparison, a typical 40W incandescent bulb produces around 400-450 lumens. The 110-degree beam spreads the light over a wide area, so the bollard provides gentle guidance rather than a bright spotlight effect.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The LED is integrated into the bollard and is not user-replaceable. The LED module is rated for a typical lifespan of 25,000-30,000 hours under normal operating conditions.
