Description

The Ashcroft brings together warm brushed aged brass and clear glass in a semi-flush pendant that suits period and modern rooms alike. Five arms curve out from a central hub, each holding a rounded glass shade that shows off the filament bulb inside. The result is soft, glowing light that spreads across a space without hiding the fittings behind heavy shades.

Each shade is finished with a brass collar that echoes the ceiling plate and the fixed drop rod, giving the piece a consistent metallic tone throughout. The clear glass keeps things bright and open, so the light itself does much of the work while the brass frame adds structure. Because the drop is fairly short, this pendant works well in rooms with standard ceiling heights where a longer chandelier would sit too low.

We think the Ashcroft fits happily in a dining room over the table, in a living room as a central fitting, or in a hallway where you want a bit of warmth on arrival. The five bulbs give plenty of output for larger spaces, and the exposed filament lamps add to the relaxed, characterful look.
