The Arul cushion brings a graphic, hand-worked feel to a sofa, bed or reading chair. Against a cream woven ground, tufted and embroidered lines trace an abstract maze in nutmeg, warm terracotta and deep black. The mix of raised bouclé-style tufting and flatter chain-stitch embroidery gives the front real texture, so it catches the light and adds interest even from across the room.

The front is a cotton and polyester blend, while the reverse is plain cotton, and the cover comes with a feather-filled pad for a soft, plump seat that holds its shape well. At 450 x 450mm it sits comfortably in a square format, working on its own or layered with plainer cushions to let the pattern lead.
