The Alcove Gauze Bedspread is a lightly quilted throw made from soft cotton gauze, worked with rows of running-stitch that give it gentle texture and a relaxed, lived-in look. The two-tone design pairs a coloured face with a pale reverse, and the whole piece has a slightly crinkled, airy handle that drapes easily over a bed or sofa. At 260cm by 240cm it is generous enough to cover a double or king bed with plenty to spare.

It comes in two colourways: a warm neutral Taupe and a soft muted Sage. Both are easy to live with and sit well against natural woods, linen bedding and plain walls, so they suit calm bedrooms and quiet living rooms alike. Use it as a top layer over a duvet, folded at the foot of the bed, or draped across a chair or the arm of a sofa.

The bedspread is made from 100% cotton with visible hand-style running-stitch quilting and a bound edge that keeps it neat. The gauze construction means it stays light and breathable through the year. To care for it, machine wash cool on a gentle cycle and dry flat or on a low setting; a little natural creasing is part of its character.
