Description

The Addington brings a soft, decorative touch to lower ceilings where a full pendant would sit too low. A slim brushed brass stem drops from a circular ceiling plate, opening into a tapered cup that holds a ribbed clear glass shade. The onion-style shape with its gently pointed base gives the fitting a period-inspired character while keeping the overall look light and open.

Because the glass is clear and ribbed, the bulb stays partly visible and casts a warm, patterned glow across the surrounding surfaces. It works nicely with a decorative filament lamp, letting the exposed element become part of the display. The warm brass tone sits well against both pale and darker walls, making it a flexible choice for hallways, kitchens and smaller bedrooms.

As a semi-flush design it suits rooms with limited head height, dropping around 350mm from the ceiling. The 200mm width keeps it compact enough for landings and cloakrooms, yet detailed enough to hold its own as a single feature light over a compact space.
