Our White Short Chrysanthemum brings the rounded, layered charm of a classic mum to displays that never need topping up with water. Each bloom is built from dozens of slim white petals that curve inwards towards a soft centre, giving the flower head its full, domed shape. The petals carry a gentle matte finish rather than a plastic shine, so from a step back this artificial flower stem reads as freshly cut. Small tonal shifts through the petals add depth, and the green stem and leaves finish the look with a natural feel.

Standing at a compact 29cm tall, the white short chrysanthemum suits smaller vessels, bud vases and tighter groupings where a taller stem would overwhelm. Pop a single stem in a slim glass bottle on a windowsill, or gather three or four together in a low bowl for a rounded posy. It mixes happily with taller greenery, seasonal branches or paler blooms, letting the white heads sit as bright points among softer foliage. Cluster several in a ceramic jug for a fuller arrangement across a mantel, shelf or dining table.

Being faux, this stem asks very little of you. There is no water to change and no wilting to worry about. Dust the petals occasionally with a soft brush or a gentle puff of air to keep the white looking crisp, and settle it away from harsh direct sunlight to help the colour hold over time. The stem can be trimmed shorter to suit your chosen vase if needed.
