Description

The Stirling Castle is a single-light wall fitting with a bronze-finished caged metal frame surrounding an excavation glass diffuser, built around an E27 bulb fitting. The frame's vertical arch pattern and urn-shaped profile reference medieval torch holders, while the textured excavation glass softens the light source into a warm ambient glow.

Designed for hallways, stairwells, dining rooms and living areas where wall-mounted task or accent lighting is needed, the fitting projects 152mm from the wall and measures 343mm in height. The caged structure provides protection for the bulb while maintaining visibility of the glass diffuser, so the light appears as though it's behind a decorative grille. The bronze finish shows darker tones in the recesses of the metalwork and lighter patina on raised surfaces, giving depth to the frame when lit.

The excavation glass has a textured surface that scatters light rather than directing it sharply, making this fitting more suited to ambient and decorative roles than task lighting. The E27 socket accepts standard LED, halogen or filament bulbs up to 60W (sold separately), allowing control over light temperature and intensity. The 279mm width and urn-shaped base give the fitting a substantial presence without overwhelming narrow hallway walls.

Can it be used outdoors?
