Description

The Step is a 118.5cm linear suspension light with an integrated 30W SMD LED array running the length of a gold-finished aluminium housing. The LED delivers 3000K warm white light both downward through the base aperture and upward against the ceiling as indirect wash light, creating a combination of task and ambient illumination. The 120° beam angle provides wide coverage along the axis of the fitting.

Designed for installation above dining tables, kitchen islands and long desks where linear coverage is needed, the Step suits rooms with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3.2m. The suspension cables are adjustable between 20cm and 100cm, allowing the fitting to be positioned 70-90cm above a worktop or 75-85cm above a dining table depending on ceiling height and application. The narrow 4cm profile and 118.5cm length work across island units between 180cm and 240cm long.

The gold finish is applied to extruded aluminium, giving the fitting a warm metallic accent that pairs with brass fixtures, warm-toned timber and both contemporary and classical interiors. The CRI of 80 provides good colour rendering for food preparation and dining environments. The integrated LED is non-replaceable but carries a 5-year warranty, with an expected lifespan of 30,000 hours at typical domestic use patterns (approximately 10 years at 8 hours per day).
