Description

The Rosa Large is a two-light wall fitting with a rectangular ivory faux silk shade mounted on an aged brass backplate and finial. The finial itself is constructed from eight interlocking brass circles that cascade down from the mounting point, creating a decorative element below the shade. Each of the two E27 lamp holders sits inside the shade, which diffuses the light through the fabric weave.

Designed for hallways, bedrooms and living room accent walls, the Rosa Large provides ambient and decorative lighting at mid-wall height. The 128mm projection from the wall makes it suitable for corridors and narrower spaces where a deeper wall light would obstruct movement. The 370mm width and 521mm total height including the finial give the fitting a presence that works in rooms with ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards.

The aged brass finish has a matte, tarnished quality rather than a polished or bright gold tone, which pairs comfortably with warmer wood tones, cream walls and traditional or transitional interior schemes. The faux silk shade uses a textured weave that shows subtle variation in how the light passes through different sections of the fabric, avoiding the flat appearance of plain cotton or linen shades. The multi-circle finial below the shade adds visual weight and differentiates the Rosa from simpler rectangular wall lights.

What bulbs does the Rosa Large take?

The fitting takes two E27 (Edison screw) bulbs up to 60W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED bulbs between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for soft ambient light through the faux silk shade.

How is the wall light fitted?

The Rosa Large mounts directly to the wall via the aged brass backplate, which conceals the fixing screws. A qualified electrician should connect the fitting to a standard UK wall lighting circuit. The 128mm projection from the wall requires clearance for the shade depth.

Can the shade be replaced or cleaned?

The faux silk shade is a fixed part of the fitting. For cleaning, dust gently with a soft brush or microfibre cloth. Avoid damp cleaning as moisture can mark or discolour faux silk fabric.

Is the aged brass finish suitable for bathrooms?

The Rosa Large carries no IP rating and is designed for dry interior locations only. It should not be installed in bathrooms, shower rooms or other damp environments where moisture could affect the fabric shade or electrical components.
