The Pug is a table lamp with a sense of humour: a high-quality resin figurine of a seated pug, detailed from whisker to paw, that holds a bulb where you might least expect it. It comes in two finishes, a warm vintage gold or a soft matt black, both with a matt black lamp holder, and it stands around 237mm tall, so it is a small, characterful piece rather than a full-size lamp. It is fitted with an inline on/off switch on a 1.5 metre black fabric cable and takes a single E14 lamp, which is not included.

Because the bulb is on show, the Pug is made for a decorative E14 filament LED: twin it with a warm vintage filament lamp and you get a soft glow and a playful bit of personality on a shelf, a bedside table, a console or a child's room. It is the sort of piece that starts a conversation, and it works as a pair, one gold and one black, or as a single accent alongside more restrained lighting.
