Description

The Prismara is a 2-light crystal wall light built on a gold-finish metal frame with curved blown glass arms, cut crystal bobeches and multiple crystal droplets. Each arm holds an E14 candle bulb (sold separately) under a faceted crystal dish that acts as both drip tray and light refractor. The central backplate features a vertical cut crystal block that catches and redirects light from the two bulbs.

Designed for hallways, dining rooms and living rooms where wall-mounted accent lighting is needed, the Prismara projects 290mm from the wall and spans 340mm in width. The blown glass arms have a gold-tinted interior that casts warm reflections when lit, contrasting with the clear crystal droplets. The fitting requires two E14 bulbs up to 40W each and is compatible with most dimmer switches rated for the bulb type used.

The crystal components are individually cut and hand-hung, so slight variations in drape and angle between individual pieces are normal. The gold finish on the metalwork is applied over a brass-toned base coat, giving depth under direct light. The IP20 rating limits the Prismara to indoor dry locations — bathrooms and outdoor use are not suitable. The fitting mounts to a standard UK single-gang back box or direct to a flat wall surface with the supplied fixings.

What bulbs does it take?

The fitting takes two E14 small Edison screw candle bulbs up to 40W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K for a warm glow that complements the gold finish.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off the power and allow bulbs to cool. Wipe crystal droplets and blocks with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the crystal or allowing water to run into the metal frame.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating limits the Prismara to indoor dry locations only. Bathrooms require IP44 or higher for zones near water sources.
