Description

The Lystra is a 45cm linear LED wall light with a powder-coated black aluminium frame and an integrated 12W 3000K LED behind a frosted glass diffuser. The frosted glass is clear on the outside and frosted on the inside, so the light spreads evenly along the full 450mm length without visible LED dots or bright spots.

Designed for hallways, bathrooms (IP20 rating limits it to zones 3 and above), bedrooms and living rooms where wall-mounted task or ambient light is needed without a ceiling fitting. The 40mm projection from the wall keeps the profile low, making it suitable for narrow hallways or corridors where a deeper fitting would reduce clearance. The adjustable diffuser tilts slightly on the mount, allowing the light to be angled up or down depending on whether wall-wash or downward illumination is needed.

The black powder-coated finish is matte and absorbs light rather than reflecting it, which keeps the fitting visually recessive against darker walls or provides contrast against lighter walls. The 12W output at 3000K delivers warm-white light comparable to a traditional 75W incandescent bulb but spread across the full 45cm length rather than concentrated in a single point. The LED is non-replaceable and rated for approximately 30,000 hours of use, which equates to around 10 years of typical domestic use at 8 hours per day.

The IP20 rating means it is not protected against water spray or splashes. It can be used in bathrooms in zone 3 (more than 600mm from a bath or shower) but not in zones 1 or 2 where direct water contact is possible.
