Description

The Krone is a 120cm linear LED chandelier built around a brass-finished metal frame set with asymmetrical rows of faceted crystal elements along both edges. An integrated 36W LED strip runs the length of the frame, casting light through and around the crystals while illuminating the surface below. The LED operates at 3000K with a CRI of 90, rendering colours accurately across dining tables, kitchen islands and entrance halls.

Designed for installation above long surfaces where a single pendant would underlight the space, the Krone provides even coverage across 1.8-2.4m tables or kitchen islands. The suspension cables are adjustable between 91cm and 311cm, allowing the fitting to be set 70-90cm above a dining table or worktop depending on ceiling height. The brass canopy fits standard UK ceiling roses and the two suspension points distribute the weight of the 120cm frame evenly.

The asymmetrical arrangement of the crystals gives the fitting visual interest from multiple viewing angles without creating a symmetrical repeating pattern. Each crystal is facet-cut to refract the LED light, creating reflections and highlights that change as you move around the room. The brass finish on the metal frame provides a warm metallic accent that pairs with both traditional and contemporary interiors, while the IP20 rating confirms the fitting is designed for dry indoor locations only.

Is the LED dimmable?

The integrated 36W LED is built into the frame and cannot be replaced. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer switch model. The product manual linked in the Downloads section may provide further guidance, or contact us before pairing with a dimmer to confirm compatibility.

What length table or island does this suit?

The 120cm length provides even light coverage across dining tables or kitchen islands between 1.8m and 2.4m long. For longer surfaces, two Krone fittings can be installed in sequence, or consider a different linear chandelier with a longer frame.

How is the drop height adjusted?

The suspension cables can be shortened during installation to set the fitting between 91cm and 311cm below the ceiling. Once installed, the height is fixed unless the fitting is taken down and the cables adjusted again. Most installations position the fitting 70-90cm above the table or worktop surface.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is designed for dry indoor locations only and must not be installed in bathrooms, wet rooms, or any location where it could be exposed to moisture or steam.
