Ignitia-1 Linear Pendant Light 36W 3000K - Black

The Ignitia-1 is a 1070mm linear pendant light with a black aluminium body housing two integrated LED strips totalling 36W output at 3000K. The fitting provides both direct downward lighting and indirect upward lighting, with the indirect component controlled by a built-in switch on the fixture itself, allowing the light direction to be adjusted after installation without rewiring.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and office desks where functional overhead lighting is needed, the Ignitia-1 sits 35mm deep and 80mm tall, giving a low-profile rectangular section that projects minimal mass into the room below. The 1070mm length typically covers a 1200-1500mm table or island when centred, or can be chained end-to-end in multiples to cover longer runs in commercial spaces. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry indoor environments.

The black powder-coated aluminium body resists minor knocks and gives a consistent matt finish that pairs with black or dark metal frames, architectural fittings and monochrome interiors. The 3000K colour temperature produces warm white light comparable to halogen, rather than the cooler blue-white tone of 4000K+ office lighting. Can the indirect lighting be switched off separately?

Yes. The Ignitia-1 has a built-in switch on the fixture body that controls the indirect upward lighting independently. The direct downward lighting operates whenever the fitting is powered on, and the switch allows you to add or remove the indirect component depending on the ambience needed.

What ceiling height is recommended?

Linear pendant lights like the Ignitia-1 work best in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. For a dining table or kitchen island, the bottom of the fitting typically sits 700-800mm above the surface, which requires approximately 2.5m ceiling height to avoid the light being too low for seated diners.

Is it suitable for bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means this fitting is not protected against moisture and is designed for dry indoor environments only. Bathrooms require minimum IP44 rating for zones near showers and baths.

Can multiple units be linked together?

The Ignitia-1 can be installed in multiples to cover longer tables or commercial runs, but each unit is wired separately to the ceiling rose, they are not a connectable track system. For runs longer than 1200mm, installing two or more units end-to-end provides continuous linear lighting.
