Description
The Halo is an 80cm linear suspension light with an integrated 10W LED running the full length of the bar, suspended from a cylindrical black canopy on adjustable cables. The LED unit is housed in a narrow 1.7cm aluminium extrusion finished in matt black, with the light directed downward to provide task and accent lighting over kitchen islands, dining tables, and work surfaces.
Designed for rooms with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3.9m, the Halo's suspension height adjusts from 36.7cm to 316.7cm during installation, allowing it to be set at the optimal height above a worktop (typically 70-80cm clearance) or dining table (typically 70-90cm clearance depending on the table height and ceiling). The narrow profile keeps the fitting unobtrusive in plan view, while the 80cm run provides enough spread to cover a typical 150-180cm island or dining table without needing multiple pendants.
The LED colour temperature adjusts between 3000K (warm white) and 4000K (neutral white) using a compatible wall dimmer, allowing the light to be tuned warmer for evening dining or cooler for focused food preparation and task work. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry indoor locations — it is not suitable for bathrooms or outdoor use. The matt black finish on the aluminium absorbs rather than reflects light, reducing glare under the fitting and pairing cleanly with black kitchen cabinetry, matt black taps and hardware, and monochrome contemporary interiors.

Frequently Asked
How is the colour temperature adjusted?
The Halo's LED adjusts between 3000K warm white and 4000K neutral white using a compatible mains dimmer switch. The dimmer must be installed on the circuit by a qualified electrician — the fitting itself has no built-in switch or remote control.
What ceiling height is needed?
The suspension cables adjust from 36.7cm to 316.7cm, so the fitting works in rooms with ceiling heights from approximately 2.4m up to nearly 4m. For a typical kitchen island the pendant sits 70-80cm above the worktop, which suits standard 2.4-2.7m ceiling heights when the cables are shortened during installation.
Can it be used in a bathroom?
No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is suitable only for dry indoor locations. It cannot be used in bathrooms, wet rooms, or outdoor covered areas where moisture is present.
What length of island or table does it suit?
The 80cm bar provides balanced coverage over islands or dining tables in the 150-180cm range. For longer surfaces, consider pairing two Halo fittings end-to-end with a gap of 40-60cm between them to avoid a hard shadow line in the centre.
