Designed for covered outdoor areas rather than fully exposed positions, the Fairford provides downward-directed ambient light through the opal glass diffuser. The single E27 socket accepts any standard screw-in bulb up to 40W, giving flexibility to choose warm-white LED (typically 5-8W, 2700K-3000K) for inviting porch lighting, or a brighter daylight-temperature LED (4000K-5000K) for functional garage or rear door entry points. The opal glass softens the light output and prevents glare when the lantern is viewed from below.

The cast aluminium construction gives the fitting structural weight and corrosion resistance superior to pressed steel alternatives. How is it fitted to the ceiling?
