Description

The Facet is a crystal wall light built around a cylindrical arrangement of precision-cut crystal prisms, each faceted to refract and multiply light from a single E14 bulb inside the frame. The crystal elements sit within a gold-finished metal structure that holds the prisms in a vertical stack and provides the mounting backplate for wall installation.

Designed for hallways, bedrooms, landings and dressing rooms where a vertical fitting is needed on narrow wall sections, the Facet's 13cm width and 10cm projection from the wall make it suitable for corridors and passage spaces where larger wall lights would obstruct movement. The 25cm height gives adequate visual weight without requiring a high ceiling. The fitting mounts to a standard UK back box behind plasterboard or solid walls and accepts any standard E14 small Edison screw bulb up to 60W.

The crystal prisms are cut with geometric facets that catch daylight when the bulb is off and cast fractured light patterns on adjacent walls when lit. The gold finish on the metal frame is a warm-toned yellow gold rather than rose or antique, pairing with brass hardware, gold mirror frames and warm-toned traditional interiors. The IP20 rating limits the Facet to dry indoor locations — it is not suitable for bathrooms, wet rooms or outdoor use.

No. The IP20 rating means the Facet is only suitable for dry indoor locations. It cannot be installed in bathrooms, wet rooms, or any area where it may be exposed to moisture or splashing.

How far does it project from the wall?

The fitting projects 10cm from the wall once installed. This makes it suitable for narrow hallways and corridors where deeper-projecting wall lights would obstruct passage.

Is it dimmable?

Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulb you choose. If you fit a dimmable LED E14 bulb and pair it with a compatible trailing-edge dimmer, the light output can be controlled. The fitting itself has no inherent dimming limitation.
