Description

The Beamrise is a 275mm circular wall light with a matt black metal exterior and gold leaf interior, fitted with three G9 bulb holders positioned behind the front face. The circular disc is divided horizontally, with the upper half lined in gold leaf and the lower half painted matt black, creating a reflected warm glow when lit while the exterior remains dark.

Designed for living rooms, hallways and bedroom accent lighting, the Beamrise casts light upwards and downwards against the wall rather than projecting it forward into the room. The gold leaf interior reflects and warms the light from the three G9 bulbs (sold separately), giving the fitting an ambient rather than task-lighting function. The dimmable rating allows the brightness to be adjusted via compatible wall dimmers.

The 275mm diameter gives the Beamrise a noticeable wall presence without dominating smaller rooms. The matt black finish on the exterior hides fingerprints and integrates with dark walls or provides contrast against lighter walls. The gold leaf interior is applied by hand during manufacture, so minor tonal variation between individual units is normal. The fitting carries IP20 rating, restricting it to dry interior locations only.

What bulbs does it take?

The Beamrise takes three G9 capsule bulbs, sold separately. Most users fit warm-white LED G9 bulbs rated 2W-4W and 2700K-3000K to match the gold leaf interior tone. The fitting is dimmable with compatible G9 dimmable bulbs and a trailing-edge dimmer.

Does it cast light forward or against the wall?

The light casts primarily upwards and downwards against the wall, with minimal forward projection. The circular disc shields the bulbs from direct view, so the fitting acts as ambient wall wash lighting rather than task lighting.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating restricts the Beamrise to dry interior locations only. It cannot be installed in bathrooms, outdoor covered areas, or any environment where moisture or splashing may occur.

Does the gold leaf vary between fittings?

Yes. The gold leaf interior is hand-applied during manufacture in Italy, so minor tonal variation and slight texture differences between individual units are normal and part of the hand-finished character.
