Description
The Aperta is a 4MP (2K resolution) wireless video doorbell with a 170° wide-angle camera, two-way audio and motion-activated recording. The unit connects to 2.4GHz or 5GHz Wi-Fi networks or via Ethernet, streaming live video to a smartphone app and recording motion events to local storage without requiring subscription fees or cloud service charges.
Designed for front door and gate installation on residential properties, the doorbell records visitor activity when the bell button is pressed or when motion is detected within the 170° field of view. The human detection mode filters out false triggers from passing vehicles or animals, reducing unnecessary alerts. Two-way audio allows conversation with visitors through the app, and the unit integrates with Alexa Dot for audible door chime notifications inside the home.
The IP65 ingress protection rating allows the doorbell to operate outdoors in rain, snow and dust across a temperature range of -20°C to +60°C. The unit ships with an angle bracket kit for mounting on walls or door frames where the doorbell needs to be angled towards the approach path. The brushed metal faceplate with bell icon sits below a black plastic camera housing, giving a two-tone appearance that reads clearly as a doorbell from street level.
The unit weighs 516g (690g packaged) and requires a wired power connection or compatible battery accessory depending on the installation configuration. Recorded footage is stored locally, avoiding ongoing cloud storage costs, and the doorbell works with mechanical bell converters if an existing wired chime needs to be retained.
