Zephyra LED Square Recessed Ground Light - 11W 3000K IP67 Silver

The Zephyra is a 162mm square recessed ground light with an integrated 11W LED emitting warm 3000K white light through a frosted glass diffuser. The light sits flush with the ground surface in a steel housing finished in brushed silver, designed for installation in driveways, pathways, patios and garden borders. The IP67 rating protects against dust ingress and temporary water immersion, making it suitable for locations where rainwater pooling or pressure-washing occurs.

Designed for permanent outdoor installation, the Zephyra requires a ground cut-out of approximately 170mm depth to accommodate the housing and a 400mm cable tail for connection to external supply. The light is non-orientable, casting diffused illumination across the surrounding surface rather than directional beam lighting. This makes it effective for marking pathway edges, defining driveway borders or adding ambient lighting to paved terraces without creating harsh shadows or glare points.

The steel construction resists corrosion in wet outdoor conditions and the flush-mount design allows vehicles to drive over the fitting without damage when installed in driveways or parking areas. The frosted glass diffuser softens the LED output, creating a warm glow across concrete, stone or resin-bound surfaces. The 3000K colour temperature provides a neutral warm white that works across contemporary and traditional exterior schemes without the cooler blue cast of higher colour temperatures.

Can this be driven over?

Yes. When installed in a driveway or parking area with appropriate sub-base preparation, the Zephyra's flush-mount steel housing can withstand vehicle loads. The 170mm depth ensures the fitting sits below the ground surface with the glass level with paving.

What installation depth is required?

The housing projects 170mm below ground level. The installation cut-out needs to be at least 170mm deep with adequate drainage beneath the fitting to prevent water sitting around the housing. The 400mm cable tail requires routing to an external junction box or driver.

Is it dimmable?

No. The integrated 11W LED runs at fixed output on mains power. External dimming is not supported.

What does IP67 mean for ground lights?

IP67 means the fitting is dust-tight and can withstand temporary immersion in water up to 1m depth. This makes it suitable for outdoor locations where heavy rain, puddles or pressure-washing occur, but it is not designed for permanent underwater installation.
