Description
The WickGlow Dumpy is a 6cm diameter flameless candle with a gold translucent plastic body and a battery-operated LED flame tip. The wide cylindrical base mimics the proportions of a traditional dumpy pillar candle, while the flickering LED inside the tip simulates the movement of a real flame without producing heat, smoke or requiring a wick.
Designed for interiors where open flames are impractical or unsafe — bedside tables, children's rooms, offices, hospitality settings, window ledges — the candle provides ambient accent lighting without the fire risk or maintenance cycle of traditional wax candles. The 7.5cm height keeps the light source low to the surface, making it suitable for coffee tables, dining consoles and mantelpieces where taller candles might obstruct sightlines.
The gold finish diffuses the LED light through the translucent plastic body, casting a warm amber glow onto nearby surfaces. The flame detail remains visible when the LED is switched off, so the candle functions as a decorative object year-round rather than disappearing into storage between uses. The compact footprint allows the candle to be grouped in odd numbers (3, 5, 7) for tablescapes or paired symmetrically on either side of a mirror or artwork.

Frequently Asked
Does the candle use batteries or mains power?
The WickGlow Dumpy runs on batteries (type not specified in the product data — please contact us to confirm battery type and quantity before purchase). There is no mains cable or plug.
Does the flame flicker like a real candle?
Yes. The LED inside the flame tip is designed to flicker and move in a pattern that mimics the behaviour of a real candle flame, rather than producing a static glow.
Can it be used outdoors?
The candle is not rated for outdoor use. It has no IP rating and should be kept away from moisture, rain and direct weather exposure. It can be used in covered outdoor areas such as conservatories or covered porches where it remains protected from the elements.
How is the candle cleaned?
Wipe the plastic body with a dry or barely-damp microfibre cloth. Do not submerge in water or use chemical cleaners, as moisture may damage the internal LED mechanism.
