The Vesa is a 38cm clear glass pendant light with a bell-shaped shade suspended on a satin nickel chain, housing three E14 candle bulbs arranged vertically on a central stem inside the glass. The shade sits 50cm from the canopy to the base when hung at full drop, and the chain allows the height to be adjusted on installation to suit ceiling clearances between 2.4m and 3m.

Designed for kitchen islands, breakfast bars, hallway entrances and dining tables where multiple pendants can be hung in a row, the Vesa provides ambient light through clear glass without heavy diffusion. The three 40W maximum candle bulbs (sold separately) sit exposed inside the glass, so filament-style LED bulbs work well here to add visual interest when the light is off. The satin nickel finish on the metalwork pairs with cooler greys, whites and industrial-toned interiors.

What bulbs does the Vesa take?

The Vesa takes three E14/SES (small Edison screw) candle bulbs, each rated up to 40W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED filament candle bulbs at 4-6W and 2700K to mimic traditional candle light while keeping running costs low.

Can the drop height be adjusted?

Yes. The pendant hangs on a chain that can be shortened during installation to suit your ceiling height. The 50cm measurement is from the ceiling canopy to the base of the glass shade at full drop.

How many Vesa pendants are needed above a kitchen island?

For a standard 90-120cm island, one Vesa pendant centred above the surface provides adequate light. For islands 150-200cm long, two pendants spaced 60-80cm apart work well. For longer islands above 200cm, consider three pendants evenly spaced.

Is the glass shade removable for cleaning?

Yes. The glass bell shade detaches from the metal frame for cleaning. Wipe with a damp microfibre cloth and dry thoroughly before refitting to avoid water marks.
