Description

The Vesa is a 380mm clear glass pendant light with three E14 candle bulbs mounted on polished chrome arms inside a bell-shaped clear glass shade. The glass is hand-blown into a wide, gently curved dome that tapers at the neck where it meets a chrome canopy and chain suspension. The three bulbs sit on separate arms radiating from a central chrome stem, visible through the transparent glass when the light is off and creating a candelabra effect when lit.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Vesa pairs decorative and functional lighting. The clear glass provides minimal diffusion, so most of the light output comes directly from the three bulbs, giving 120W of potential output when fitted with three 40W E14 bulbs (sold separately). The 500mm overall height is adjustable on the chain during installation, allowing the pendant to hang 700-900mm above a worktop or dining surface depending on room proportions.

The polished chrome finish on the metalwork reflects ambient light from windows and surrounding fixtures, adding visual weight to the pendant without blocking sightlines across a room. The 3.7kg total weight requires a standard UK ceiling rose capable of supporting up to 5kg. The glass shade shows minimal tonal variation between production batches and cleans with standard glass cleaner, making it practical for kitchens where cooking residue can settle on pendant fittings over time.

What bulbs does the Vesa take?

The pendant takes three E14/SES (small Edison screw) candle bulbs, each rated up to 40W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K for dining and kitchen use.

Is the chain length adjustable?

Yes. The chain can be shortened during installation to suit your ceiling height and the position of the surface below. For a kitchen island the pendant typically hangs 700-900mm above the worktop.

How is the glass cleaned?

The clear glass shade can be wiped with standard glass cleaner and a soft cloth. For kitchens where cooking residue builds up, remove the shade from the metal frame periodically and wash in warm soapy water, then dry thoroughly before refitting.

Can this be installed on a sloped ceiling?

The chain suspension allows the pendant to hang vertically even when the ceiling rose is mounted on a slope. The maximum slope angle depends on the specific ceiling rose fitting used.
