The Verdale is a 4 light chandelier built around a central chrome stem that extends into four evenly spaced arms, each carrying a dual-layered shade: a structured wire cube frame sits inside a curved clear glass cylinder. The combination gives each light point a geometric core with a softer glass outline, while the polished chrome metalwork ties the composition together.

Designed for dining rooms, open-plan kitchen diners, and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.5m or above, the Verdale provides ambient light distributed across four G9 bulb positions (bulbs sold separately). The 58cm diameter and 52cm drop suit rooms of 15-25m² where a ceiling fitting needs to anchor the space without dominating it. The chrome arms radiate at right angles from the central stem, creating a balanced symmetry when viewed from below.

Each wire frame inside the glass diffuses the light from the G9 bulb, breaking it into a grid pattern that projects onto surrounding surfaces when lit. The clear glass outer layer softens this effect slightly while adding a second visual layer to each shade. The mirror-polished chrome finish reflects daylight and lamplight, which can brighten darker rooms and pairs cleanly with white, grey, and cooler-toned interiors. At 3kg the chandelier has enough weight to hang securely from a standard ceiling rose and joist without additional bracing.

What bulbs does the Verdale take?

The chandelier uses four G9 capsule bulbs, each up to 33W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users fit G9 LED capsules in the 3-5W range with warm white (2700K-3000K) or daylight (4000K) colour temperature depending on room use.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 52cm drop works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.5m or above. For dining tables the fitting typically sits 700-900mm above the table surface, which requires a minimum 2.7m ceiling. Lower ceilings can still accommodate the Verdale if the chain or rod is shortened during installation.

Is the chandelier dimmable?

Dimming depends on the bulbs you fit. If you use dimmable G9 LED bulbs and pair them with a compatible LED dimmer switch, the chandelier will dim. Non-dimmable G9 bulbs will not dim regardless of the switch type.
