Description

The Knightsbridge TRKIT4BC is a 1m track lighting kit comprising a brushed chrome aluminium track, three adjustable GU10 spotlights, and live and dead end accessories for single-circuit installation. Each spotlight tilts 80° and rotates 350° on its track mount, allowing light to be directed across kitchen worktops, gallery walls, retail displays or home office desks.

Designed for ceiling-mounted installation where directional accent or task lighting is needed, the kit suits kitchens, hallways, studies and commercial spaces. The 1m track can be surface-mounted to a plasterboard or solid ceiling and accepts 230V mains directly through the live end fitting. The three spotlights can be positioned anywhere along the track and locked in place, giving flexibility to space them evenly or cluster them where more light is needed.

Each spotlight accepts a standard GU10 bulb up to 50W (sold separately), compatible with halogen, CFL or LED bulbs. The brushed chrome finish on the aluminium track and spotlight heads provides a satin metallic surface that pairs with both modern and industrial interiors. The 58mm spotlight diameter and 172mm projection from the track give a compact profile that suits standard UK ceiling heights of 2.4m without the fittings visually dominating the room.

The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor environments. Class I construction requires earthing during installation. The kit includes all mounting hardware, track connectors, and end caps needed for a complete single-run installation.

What bulbs does it take?

Each spotlight takes a standard GU10 bulb up to 50W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users fit LED GU10 bulbs between 4-7W and 2700K-4000K depending on whether warm or neutral white light is needed.

Can the spotlights be repositioned after installation?

Yes. The spotlights slide along the track and lock into position with a twist mechanism. Once the track is installed and powered, the spotlights can be moved, added or removed without re-wiring.

Is the kit dimmable?

Dimming depends on the GU10 bulbs fitted. If dimmable LED or halogen GU10 bulbs are used, the kit will dim when connected to a compatible GU10-rated dimmer switch on the mains circuit.

Can multiple tracks be joined together?

The kit is supplied with one 1m track section, live end and dead end accessories for a single run. Additional track sections and connectors are available separately from Knightsbridge if a longer run or L-shaped configuration is needed.
