Description

The Toronto is a two-tier side table built from grey-veined marble shelves set into an antique brass iron frame. Both the top and lower shelf are cut from polished marble with grey and white veining running through soft taupe and brown mineral deposits, creating different patterning on each individual piece. The four slim iron legs connect the two circular shelves and are finished in a warm antique brass tone that reads as aged gold rather than bright yellow brass.

Designed as an accent table for sofas, armchairs and bedsides, the Toronto sits 53cm tall with a 43cm-diameter footprint, giving enough surface area for a table lamp, book stack and glass without dominating floor space in tighter living rooms or bedrooms. The lower shelf adds storage for magazines, remotes or decorative objects while keeping the floor clear underneath. The marble weight of 10.36kg gives stability without needing to be anchored, though the polished finish means the table sits best on rugs or carpet rather than polished wood floors where it might slide.

Yes. Each table is cut from natural marble, so the veining pattern, tonal variation and distribution of grey, taupe and brown deposits differ between individual pieces. This is a feature of the natural stone, not a defect.

How is the marble cleaned?

Marble is porous and can stain if liquids are left to sit. Wipe spills immediately with a dry or barely-damp microfibre cloth. For routine cleaning, use a cloth with distilled water only. Do not use acidic cleaners, vinegar, lemon juice or abrasive sprays, as these etch the polished surface.

Is the table suitable for lamp use?
