Description

The Knightsbridge FP7400BC is a BT-type telephone extension outlet with a brushed chrome flat plate faceplate and screw terminals. The socket is designed as a secondary outlet connected to a master telephone socket, allowing a landline handset to be used in a different room without running additional external cabling from the network entry point.

Designed for residential properties, home offices and commercial buildings where landline access is needed in multiple rooms, the outlet fits into a standard 25mm minimum back box depth. The flat plate design projects just 2.5mm from the wall surface once installed, giving a lower profile than traditional raised faceplates and sitting flush with painted or papered wall finishes.

The 201 stainless steel faceplate is finished in brushed chrome, which pairs comfortably with other brushed chrome electrical accessories, chrome door furniture and cooler-toned contemporary interiors. The built-in gasket behind the faceplate prevents plaster dust and paint from entering the back box during installation or redecorating. Screw terminals simplify the connection of standard telephone cable cores, and the earth terminal allows for proper grounding in metal back boxes.
