The Streamlight is a 20cm diameter crystal table lamp built around a gold-finished metal frame from which multiple strands of faceted Strass crystals cascade in a fountain arrangement. A single BC (bayonet cap) bulb fitting sits inside the upper frame, surrounded by arched gold arms that support the crystal strands at varying lengths. The 29cm overall height and 1.5kg weight give the lamp stability on a bedside table or console without requiring significant surface area.

Designed for bedside tables, hallway consoles and side tables in living rooms, the Streamlight functions as both decorative object and light source. When the bulb is lit, light refracts through the crystal droplets and creates scattered highlights across adjacent walls and surfaces. The lamp works particularly well in rooms where reflected light is preferred over direct downlight, such as bedrooms where a soft ambient glow is needed after dark.

Each crystal droplet is cut to catch and split light, with longer icicle-shaped pieces mixed with shorter spherical beads to create visual variation as the strands hang. The gold finish on the frame has a warm tone that pairs with brass hardware, warm wood furniture and traditional interior colour palettes. The BC bulb fitting accepts standard bayonet-cap bulbs up to 60W, allowing flexibility to choose filament-style bulbs for a warmer look or frosted LED bulbs for diffused light without visible glare through the crystals.

What bulb does it take?

The lamp takes a single BC (bayonet cap, B22) bulb up to 60W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED filament bulb between 4-6W for a traditional look, or a frosted LED for softer diffused light through the crystals.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off and allow the bulb to cool fully before cleaning. Remove dust with a dry microfibre cloth or a soft brush. For deeper cleaning, dampen a cloth with distilled water and wipe each crystal strand gently, then dry immediately to avoid water marks. Do not use household sprays or chemical cleaners on the crystals.

What size surface does it need?

The lamp has a 20cm diameter footprint and stands 29cm tall. A bedside table or console of at least 30cm depth provides adequate space, with room for the crystal strands to hang freely without touching the wall behind.

Is it stable enough for a bedside table?

Yes. At 1.5kg and with a broad circular base, the Streamlight is stable on flat surfaces. The weight is concentrated in the base rather than the top, reducing the risk of tipping if the cable is accidentally pulled.
