Description

The Schuller Sphere is a 27-light LED cluster pendant featuring polycarbonate globe shades in three finishes — satin copper, satin brass and chrome — suspended at varied heights from an 83cm circular canopy. Each globe houses an integrated LED, combining to deliver 147.6W of warm 3000K light diffused through the translucent polycarbonate. A TRIAC dimmer driver is included, allowing the fixture to be dimmed on compatible wall-mounted dimmers.

Designed for double-height spaces, the Sphere suits entrance halls, stairwells and dining areas with ceiling heights from 3m to 4.5m. The 150cm minimum drop to 300cm maximum drop allows the pendant to fill vertical volume without overwhelming lower-ceilinged rooms when shortened during installation. The staggered arrangement of 27 globes creates depth and movement as light catches the different metal finishes from different viewing angles.

The combination of copper, brass and chrome gives the fitting a layered, warm-to-cool tonal range that pairs with both mid-century and contemporary interiors. The polycarbonate shades are impact-resistant and lighter than glass, contributing to the 23.86kg total weight — substantial but manageable for ceiling installation with appropriate fixings. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor locations only.

Each globe is individually wired and the cables run through the canopy, so the drop heights are factory-set rather than adjustable on site. The fixture is Class 1 and requires an earth connection.
