Description

The Solana is a 3-light table lamp built on a vertical satin brass stem that supports three acid-etched blown glass globes arranged at staggered heights. Each globe houses a single G9 bulb (sold separately), and the acid-etched finish on the white glass diffuses the light across the entire surface of each sphere rather than creating a visible point source.

Designed for side tables, console tables and bedroom nightstands in rooms with 2.4-2.7m ceiling heights, the Solana provides ambient rather than task lighting. The lamp stands approximately 500-600mm tall with a 240mm-diameter circular base, so it needs a table surface at least 300mm square to sit comfortably without overhanging. The 1800mm cable length allows placement away from wall sockets or beneath ceiling pendants without requiring an extension lead.

The satin brass finish on the stem and base has a low-sheen brushed surface that reduces reflections and pairs well with warm-toned interiors, warm greys and natural wood furniture. The three glass globes sit on short brass arms that extend from the central stem, creating a visual balance between the vertical line of the brass and the soft spheres of the diffusers. The combined weight of the brass metalwork and blown glass gives the lamp a stable presence on a table surface without needing to be fixed down.

The IP20 rating limits the Solana to dry indoor locations — it is not suitable for bathrooms, outdoor covered areas or anywhere with regular moisture exposure. The lamp is not dimmable on standard installations; dimmer compatibility would depend on the specific G9 LED bulbs chosen and the dimmer switch model in use.

The lamp takes three G9 capsule bulbs, sold separately. Most users pair this with 3-5W warm-white LED G9 bulbs at 2700K-3000K for ambient lighting. G9 bulbs are smaller than standard E27 Edison screw bulbs and fit inside the glass globes.

Is it dimmable?

The lamp is not inherently dimmable. Dimmer compatibility depends on pairing dimmable G9 LED bulbs with a compatible dimmer switch on the circuit. Contact us before purchase if dimming capability is required.
