Description

The Sinua is a 40cm chrome table lamp built around a spiralling steel and aluminium frame that wraps a central column of faceted crystal. An integrated 12W LED running at 3000K sits within the frame, casting light through the crystal facets which then scatter it outward in multiple directions. The chrome finish on the metal reflects both the internal LED and ambient room light, amplifying the visual effect.

Designed as a decorative accent rather than a task light, the Sinua suits side tables in lounges, console tables in hallways, dressing tables in bedrooms, and reception desks in boutique or hospitality settings where a sculptural presence is wanted. The 600-lumen output provides ambient fill rather than focused reading light. The spiral form gives the lamp a vertical emphasis despite the compact 18cm width, making it work in spaces where floor area is limited but height is available.

The chrome plating is applied to steel and aluminium components, giving a mirror-polished surface that shows fingerprints and requires occasional cleaning with a soft cloth to maintain the reflective finish. The faceted crystal pieces are set into the frame during manufacture and are not user-replaceable. The lamp operates on 24V via an external transformer (supplied), drawing 11.7W actual consumption with a rated output of 12W. The IP20 rating limits the lamp to dry indoor environments only.

The spiral frame is hand-formed steel, meaning each Sinua has slight variation in the exact curve and spacing of the coils. This is a feature of the manufacturing process rather than a defect. The lamp arrives partially assembled, with the spiral body needing to be attached to the oval base plate using the fixings included in the box.

Is the Sinua dimmable?

The integrated LED operates on 24V via an external transformer. Dimming capability depends on whether the supplied transformer supports dimming. Contact us before purchase if dimmer compatibility is required.

What light output does it provide?

The lamp produces 600 lumens at 3000K warm white. This is ambient decorative lighting rather than task lighting — comparable to a traditional 40-50W incandescent bulb. It suits accent and mood lighting rather than reading or close work.

How is the chrome finish maintained?

The chrome-plated steel shows fingerprints and dust. Wipe with a dry microfibre cloth weekly to maintain the mirror finish. For smudges, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water works, but avoid sprays or polishes which can leave residue in the spiral crevices.

Does it require assembly?

Yes. The spiral body attaches to the oval base plate using fixings supplied in the box. The assembly instruction PDF is available in the Downloads tab above. Assembly typically takes 5-10 minutes.
